지누박은 디자인과 순수 예술 등 크리에이티브에 관한 영역과 장르에 구애받지 않고 종합적 시각으로 자신만의 예술 영역을 개척해 나가고 있다. 무엇이 디자인이고 어디까지가 예술인가라는 경계에 대한 새로운 패러다임을 만들어나가고 있는 작가이다.
이번 전시에서는 작가 본인과 타인의 욕망 사이에서 오는 괴리감이 점차 사회적 학습을 통해 서로 섞이고 희석되는 시점을 표현한 <샹들리에의 처형, 2025>를 선보인다. 이 작품은 샹들리에 오브제와, 욕망의 인형들, 현대사회를 대변하는 회화들로 구성된다.
이는 빛의 장식과 세속적 이미지의 충돌을 통해 인간 욕망의 찬란함과 그 이면의 허무, 그리고 권위에 대한 무언의 도전을 시각화하려는 시도이다. 작가는 이 시대의 욕망이 어떻게 소비되고, 어떻게 무너지는지를 라이팅 설치와 팝아트적 언어로서 이야기한다.
Zinoo Park pioneers his own artistic realm with a comprehensive vision that transcends boundaries between design, fine art, and other creative fields. He is an artist who is creating a new paradigm for the boundary between what is a design and what is an art.
In this exhibition, Park presents <Execution of the Chandelier, 2025>, which explores the moment when the gap between his own desires and those of others gradually blends and dissolves through social learning. The work comprises a chandelier object, dolls symbolising desire, and paintings representing contemporary society.
Through the collision between ornamental light and worldly imagery, Park attempts to visualise both the brilliance and the emptiness of human desire, as well as a silent challenge to authority. Using lighting installations and a pop-art language, he reflects on how the desires of our time are consumed and eventually collapse.
